Physical support from Pedestrian Pallet Trucks
An pedestrian pallet truck is an electrically powered industrial truck that is not driven, but walked next to or behind. The pedestrian pallet truck is designed for the in-house transportation of pallets and other loads on flat surfaces. It is controlled via a tiller on which there are controls for driving and lifting. In contrast to manual pallet trucks, the pedestrian pallet truck lifts the load and drives it electrically, which significantly reduces the physical strain. The body typically consists of a stable chassis with two forks, an electric motor, a battery (often lithium-ion or lead-gel) and the tiller with control unit. The load capacity varies depending on the model, but is usually between 1,200 and 2,500 kilograms. The lifting height is usually no more than 15 cm. It is mainly used in warehouses, supermarkets, production plants or for loading and unloading trucks - wherever pallets need to be moved frequently but a large forklift truck is not necessary or possible.
