Visual Information Intake at the Pick Site

The fast, accurate, and intuitive reception of information plays a central role in the execution of intralogistics processes. The necessary information (e.g. for processing order lists) is addressed via the optical or acoustic sensory channel. According to studies (Weineck, Jürgen: Sportbiologie 2004), humans receive approximately 80% of all information via the optical sensory channel, which makes the provision of information, acknowledgment, and control via pick-by-light systems advantageous.
