Definition of Roller Conveyors
Roller conveyors belong to the group of continuous conveyors. A roller conveyor is used to transport units from one place to another. By creating a continuous flow of transport, the transport usually takes place without interruption. In roller conveyors, the goods are moved by driven rollers. Due to the distance between the rollers, this type of conveyor is more suitable for stable goods such as pallets, containers or cartons. Roller conveyor technology is usually used on level routes. However, it can also be used on inclines as the rollers can rotate without a drive.
