The roll container is a mobile load carrier on casters that enables the internal transport of goods without the use of forklifts or pallet jacks. It combines mobility, flexibility, and ease of use in a single load carrier that is particularly well-suited for high-frequency, short-distance transport. In retail, at CEP service providers, in hospital logistics, and in the textile industry, the roll container is indispensable. It demonstrates its greatest benefit in cross-docking: Goods are loaded directly from the receiving area onto the roll container, rolled to the shipping area, and loaded onto vehicles—without intermediate storage, without repackaging, and without industrial trucks. This significantly reduces handling times, lowers energy consumption, and increases throughput in time-critical transshipment warehouses.
