Advantages and areas of application of shuttle systems for GLT

Shuttle storage systems for large load carriers (GLT) are used when efficient storage, handling and automated movement of large quantities of goods or bulky goods is required. A shuttle vehicle moves on rails to automatically transport, store and retrieve goods on large load carriers. Pallets are usually used as load carriers, which often need to be stored in large quantities for each type of item. Depending on requirements, other load carriers such as pallet cages, industrial pallets or custom-made products for certain bulky items can also be used.
