ABC Analysis of the Stock Range
The ABC analysis determines for each articles how often it was sold in a defined period. Fast moving articles are all articles that sell very quickly and therefore spend only a very short time in the warehouse. Slow sellers, on the other hand, are all articles that sell rarely and therefore spend a long time in the warehouse.

Check the Target Stock
For all relevant articles, it is then necessary to check how high the stock must be in order to be able to cover the demand of a defined period.

Check the Actual Stock Quantity
The target stock can then be compared with the actual stock. If the actual stock is significantly higher than the target stock, a reduction in stock should be considered before introducing a new storage technology.
