The PIEL process analysis is a fully comprehensive examination of the procurement processes existing in the company
The project is carried out on site over several days in workshop form. The result is a neutral recommendation for action based on the findings. The analysis is carried out by two PIEL process consultants with more than 20 years of experience in the field of C-parts management. The complete workshop consists of two parts, the initialization workshop and the detail workshop. The initialization workshop includes getting to know all participants, a PIEL short lecture "Basic knowledge of C-parts management & process theory", a playful examination of the ACTUAL and DESIRED situation, the query of expectations for the project, the definition of the customer-specific C-parts, a "process tour", during which the participants of the Workshop go by the enterprise and run the procurement process approximately from beginning to end and ask critical questions, a lunch break for strengthening as well as the analysis of the process taken up during the Rundgang with the help of a 3D-Prozesspuzzle inclusive troughs for play figures, which are assigned to the individual departments. The detail workshop includes a short summary of the initialization workshop including a presentation of the process costs determined by the process puzzle and various individual interviews conducted by PIEL with the participants. Subsequently, PIEL writes up the neutral recommendation for action in presentation form, in which recommendations for action on the analyzed process as well as the process cost savings generated as a result are listed. The project is concluded with a final meeting in which the results are presented to the participants and feedback is obtained. Optionally, some of the recommendations for action can be implemented with PIEL, which may lead to follow-up projects.
