TORU handles small batch sizes and returns with ease: It works autonomously and precisely for up to 18 h per day. As a result, it can be active outside regular shift times and, for example, smooth peaks through preliminary work. Magazino is a robotics company from Munich. We develop and produce picking robots especially for shoe warehouses. Our customers include Zalando, ASICS, Fiege (Deichmann logistics) and many more. Our robotic system TORU picks shoe boxes, both fully autonomously (e.g. at night) and in collaborative operation parallel to humans (during the day). The robot represents an end-to-end automated picking solution that masters putaway, retrieval and sortation of orders.
