Greater Felxibility Thanks to Modularity

The BG Line Sorter replaces the discharge mechanism of conventional line sorters with the cross belt discharge technology used in our well-known BEUMER Group high-speed loop sorters. Thanks to this innovation, the BG Line Sorter can transport different sorted goods and position them accurately - from small poly bags to larger packages - even with fragile contents. Thanks to the improved transport characteristics compared to conventional line sorters, companies in the material handling sector benefit multiple times: they can reduce the percentage of non-conveyable items, lower the cost of transporting items and achieve higher profitability. The modular design principle based on standardized modules gives the BG Line Sorter more flexibility in terms of system design and future expansion. Thanks to the adaptability provided by the modular system, the available floor space for the sorter can be used efficiently. Modifications or upgrades are possible with minimal downtime throughout the life of the sorter. The sorter can be expanded, repositioned or relocated to a new building and - due to its scalability - is ready for future growth. Each standard unit is pre-assembled with all mechanical and electrical components, IT and controls, and is tested and certified in-house prior to installation. This enables plug-and-play operation with only a few connection points per unit and thus fast installation and commissioning.
