1
Determine the Frequency and Duration of Stay in the Area of the Special Process
The total duration of stays in certain areas can be determined in various ways. At the same time, it must also be determined how frequently the area is visited.
A
Motion-Mining®
Within the framework of a Motion-Mining® project, it is possible to determine how often and for how long employees spend their time in a defined region.
B
Process Observation and Timing
In a process observation, a stopwatch or a corresponding app can be used to determine how often a region is visited and how much time employees spend in that area.
2
Identification of additional paths to the special process area
In addition to the time spent in the auxiliary area, a special process also causes non-essential paths to the respective area. The paths can also be determined in various ways.
A
Motion-Mining®
Within the scope of a Motion-Mining® project, special processes such as driving/walking into the area can be created separately. This allows the total effort for the special process to be determined.
B
Measure the Layout
An approximation of the distance can be achieved by determining the average paths in the layout. In the next step, the average path length must then be multiplied by the speed of the vehicle/person.
