how.fm is a training and live support solution optimized for logistics for employees and temporary workers - primarily for operational warehouse staff on the ground, but also for incoming truck drivers or delivery staff in the field.
From occupational safety and basic knowledge of the workplace and activities to specific skills and work instructions, we support leading logistics companies worldwide at around 200 locations in almost 30 nations in documenting and training rules and standards across teams, shifts and locations.
With a focus on (pre-)onboarding, re-training and continuous improvement as well as upskilling - in over 35 languages - our customers can demonstrably increase safety and compliance, productivity and quality, even during ramp-ups and peak seasons. And save costs and effort in the process.

With our new AI-supported feature “AutoCourse”, our customers can upload existing documents (e.g. work instructions or SOPs) and how.fm creates the course automatically, in simple language and with suitable quiz questions. Of course, the whole thing is also translated at the same time. Our customers report time savings of up to 80% compared to manual content creation.
5. What future developments or trends do you see in the logistics industry and how are you preparing as a company?
The increasing shortage of specialists and workers poses major challenges for companies, especially in combination with high customer requirements and increasing productivity pressure. Automation solutions and artificial intelligence (AI) offer promising approaches to meet these challenges.
Our product is also developing in this direction. It is important to emphasize that human expertise remains indispensable - be it for operating and maintaining the technology or for carrying out complex processes that cannot be automated.
Our product vision is to actively support this trend. By integrating into existing systems, such as warehouse management systems (WMS), we enable an efficient training process that takes place parallel to work and in the respective national language. This increases productivity and makes it easier to train new employees.
In the future, AI-based features will generate optimization suggestions and identify potential hurdles in the process at an early stage. In this way, we can help our customers to continuously improve their processes and secure competitive advantages.
